This week I want to take a moment to talk about how I can use excel in order to maximize our output here at Pocket Squared. Like any other online store we are going to have to store a lot of information. This is how excel will help us immensely.
Using excel we can keep track of all the financial information we receive online. We can keep track of credit card and debit card information we receive. This will help us decide which cards we want to accept online in the future. We can keep track of the exact amount of profit we are making relative to the products that we are selling so that we can find out not only what products are selling the best, but what products are bringing in the most profit.
We can also use excel to keep track of trends in the amount of money that people are spending. This can help us decide how much we want to charge for our products. We can keep track easily of where they are buying from. This will allow us to market effectively. We can even use the information to better sell ad space on our site too.
